Announcing our Partnership with Kynd Period

Shiza and Natalie, Cofounders of Kynd Period

We’re very excited to announce Nisaba’s partnership with Kynd Period!

Kynd Period is a social enterprise working hard to offer sustainable and ethically-produced solutions to period poverty. They are on a mission to reduce plastic waste and make period products accessible to people, everywhere.

We have partnered with Kynd also due to their transparency and code of conduct with its suppliers and in-person audits to improve and maintain safe and ethical working conditions, workers’ rights, and the health of our planet. Each pair of Kynd underwear is equipped with a digital passport, providing full transparency of its journey from raw materials to the finished product!

For every pair of pants sold, one pair is donated to a person seeking asylum or person in need in the UK. They also offer at-cost pricing for registered charities and non-profit partners. Given Nisaba’s drive to make period products accessible to all migrants who menstruate, we couldn’t be more excited to partner with this amazing organisation.

We are so proud to partner with Nisaba and support their fight for menstrual justice through the donation of Kynd products. Nisaba’s powerful, intersectional feminist work ensures menstrual justice remains at the heart of our fight against period poverty. For us, period poverty is not just about access to safe and sustainable products but also about challenging colonial, capitalist and corporate systems that have long denied refugees, asylum seekers, displaced and other disadvantaged people their right to menstrual health and dignity. We hope that together we can make safe and sustainable products more accessible, but also challenge the systems that make them inaccessible in the first place.
