Introducing Nisaba’s SWANA Menstrual Health Brochure
Shlama and Salams this Refugee Week
Nisaba warmly shares a free offering of SWANA menstrual health practices for our homecoming journey; to re-Indigenise menstrual wellbeing through collective ancestral teachings. Decolonising the ways we interpret, nurture and care for our wombs and bodies also honours our ancestors who have passed on sacred knowledge and ways of living. This homecoming invites us to reconnect through native roots of medicinal herbs, vaginal steaming, oil practices, therapeutic movement, and more. This offering was cultivated as a volunteer project by SWANA hands, weaving together threads of our homelands as a step into collective liberation of health for all who bleed. A special thank you to our volunteers, Sahar and Marz, fellow healer and guides for their invaluable testimonials and contributions:
Thank you, basima raba qa Sherly and Deena for stand-by tech support.
